Located within the grounds of the château, either in the stable and coachhouse wing, or in the pleasure pavilion by the river, our three four-star suites at the Château des Sénéchaux in Bourdeilles are beautifully restored and have spectacular views over the village, neighbouring châteaux, and surrounding countryside. 

All three properties are individually renovated with style and taste, with an eye to accentuating the natural tones of the timbers and stone. The kitchens and bathrooms are sleek and fully equipped, with a harmonious marriage of modern and old. Each suite is luminous, spacious and elegant, all furnished with beautiful Asian and European furniture, each evoking a natural restfulness and calm. Situated just metres away from the river Dronne and in the heart of Dordogne countryside, the Château des Sénéchaux is perfectly located for paddle-boarding, wild swimming, and woodland walks. Available upon request is a row-boat for messing about on the river, or take it upstream and stop off for a picnic on the river bank.  The gorgeous medieval village of Bourdeilles is on your doorstep, and just 10km up the road is the popular town of Brantôme, the Venice of the Dordogne. Almost every weekend there is a vide grenier (similar to car boot sales) in one village or another, festivals abound during summer, and there is a plethora of events to please every taste. In winter the village snuggles down to a gentle hibernation, yet music continues year-long in one establishment, and the local amenities provide plenty of distraction, whilst you discover the delicious intimacy of the village.
