l'Hôtel Merèdieu, Rue Limogeanne, Périgueux

From the moment you enter the property through the picturesque cobbled streets of the medieval quarter of Périgueux, you will be immersed in the charm and originality of your accommodation.

The finely carved stone entrance will entice you to push open the solid oak door and peek inside. Stone stairs lead up to the first floor where a smaller oak door welcomes you. Watch your head as you enter, then look around. We guarantee you will feel the charm and intimacy of your surroundings as you enter the old chapel.

The vaulted stone arches in the ceiling, the interesting carvings, the architectural details all contribute to the warmth that emanates from this room.

This flat evokes bygone eras and allows you to immerse yourself in reflection and introspection if that is what you need. But it also gives you a base from which to enjoy the activity of a bustling city that thrives on restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and street entertainment.

We particularly appreciate the wonderful balcony overlooking Rue Limogeanne, the heart of the medieval centre of Périgueux, as well as the private terrace on the first floor which enjoys the sun all summer long.

While serving as a base for your travels and exploration of the area, you will want to return, relax, take time out, recharge and never leave. Rest in one of the two four-poster beds and wake up refreshed and ready for a new day knowing that everything is just a few steps away.

So it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Hotel Mèredieu, which is located in the old town of Périgueux. We would like to share this ancient chapel with those who have the same taste, the same interest in ancient architecture, the same desire to safeguard our heritage, and especially with those who appreciate details.

We keep your wishes and desires first and foremost: to be cocooned with a sense of luxury and space, of class while retaining comfort and sumptuousness, to be pampered and spoiled, and to have an unforgettable stay.
